Anytime I miss you I think about the time you played this on piano while I sang along
Some of my plants from a while ago.
Top left: haven’t identified yet but a coworker got it for me.
Top right: Haworthia (cactus)
Middle left: Aloe Zanzibarica
Middle right: Echeveria (she wasn’t doing to well, so I’ve moved her into a non humid spot in my office where she gets plenty of light.) I’m hoping she blossoms there.
Bottom left: Moon Cactus (got some new soil and is doing great)
Bottom right: Basil. I took this dying Basil plant this winter, took a cutting and propagated it, waiting for it to root, and out it in a nice big pot. It is the longest plant I’ve had so far. It just gives and gives and gives.

It’s important to find something that is your own thing. My thing is visiting my favorite spot by the bay. I love saving turtles and tortoises and that truly makes me feel like a great human being. Taking 2 seconds out of my day to help another living thing, really puts a smile on my face. I love picking up sea glass and it’s really just a great way to spend time with myself.

Any person: “Why do you feel like you have to keep explaining?”
Me: “Because I just feel like you don’t understand enough”
Yesterday was so much fun and one of the first times I truly didn’t care what people thought about my body. I could honestly care less anymore. I’ve worked really hard to get the body that I have now and I love it. Every curve of mine, my belly that doubles as a percussion instrument, and my stretch marks. This is my body and I own the hell out of it. Own the hell out of yours and wear whatever kind of bathing suit you want to wear. If someone gives you a weird look, just smile at them, they’re just jealous that they don’t have your level of confidence.
